We should all be thankful to those precious parts of the internet that aren't afraid to get weird with it. Without such innovations, we would all be missing out on the wide variety of creative and offbeat content that is one of the few things that still keeps being online today interesting. Memes are may be made for plenty of reasons, but quite a lot of the best ones push the limits of the format while still staying recognizable as the humor that we seek from them. Like some kind of strange dream you half remember, absurd memes remind us that the most entertaining things often don't make much sense. The best we can do is submit to it, and see if it prods anything interesting in our subconsciousness. That, and keep on scrolling so we can take in as much of the peak ridiculousness as we possibly can.
